What is Online Kura?
Online Kura is a free collection of browser-based tools that makes everyday choices, random draws and group decisions quick, clear and enjoyable. It can be used for social-media giveaways, classroom activities, team assignments, family decisions and casual games. You do not need to install an app, create an account or share personal details to use the tools.
What tools do we offer?
The site includes 13 tools: Wheel of Names, Name Draw, Group Draw, Tournament Builder, Bingo, Coin Flip, Dice Roller, Draw a Card, Tarot, Short Straw, Minesweeper, What to Watch and What to Eat. Every tool is free and designed to work well on mobile devices.
How does it work?
Tools that make a random selection use randomness supplied by the Web Crypto API when it is available in a modern browser. If that API is unavailable, the tools fall back to the browser's standard random-number generator so that they can continue to function. Visual animations run separately from the selection logic and do not decide the result.
Tool inputs such as names and candidate lists are processed in your browser and are not sent to our server. Theme and certain interface preferences may be stored in your browser. Analytics, advertising and suggestion-form processing are explained in our Privacy Policy.
Our design approach
We aim to build tools that open quickly, work without instructions and feel as comfortable on a phone as they do on a desktop. We avoid unnecessary sign-up steps, complicated settings and delays between the user and the result. Advertising spaces are positioned with the aim of keeping the main tool flow usable.
Who uses Online Kura?
Creators can pick giveaway winners, teachers can divide students into groups, teams can choose task or presentation order, friends can organise games and tournaments, and households can settle movie or meal choices. The tools are intended for entertainment and general decision support; they are not a substitute for official, audited or high-risk selection procedures.
