Information we collect

Suggestions form and data retention

Data collected: The suggestions form collects: suggestion type, title, description, name (optional) and email (optional).

Purpose: This information is used only to evaluate your suggestion and to reply if you've left contact details. It is never shared with third parties.

IP address: Raw IP addresses from the suggestions form are not stored. Only a one-way hash (MD5) of your IP is kept in temporary server memory for up to one hour to prevent spam and abuse, then automatically deleted.

Retention: Suggestion records are kept for a maximum of 6 months and are then automatically deleted. Suggestion texts we decide to implement may be kept longer in an internal archive without any personal identifiers (name and email removed).

Storage location: Suggestion records are stored on the server in a private directory that is not accessible over the web; only server-side code can read these files.

Deletion requests: To have your submitted data deleted, contact us using the contact address below.

Data security

We take reasonable technical and administrative measures to protect the limited data that reaches us. However, no transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
